I've been making this soap for my husband and I for years, and we both love it more than anything we could find in stores. It's easy to make and leaves you skin smooth and silky.
For men, pour it right in a cup and they can use a shaving brush to lather and use. I find it easier to pour it in a mold for myself.
You could use any soap base you'd like, but coconut oil soap base produces a better lather for shaving. If you use other types of soap, your results will not be as good.
Ingredients
4 ounces coconut oil soap base
1 teaspoon witch hazel
3 vitamin E capsules
1 teaspoon liquid glycerin
Directions
1. Cut soap in to small chunks.
2. Melt soap in double boiler or in microwave at 30 second intervals. Stir frequently.
3. When soap is melted, pierce 3 vitamin E capsules with a sterilized pin and squeeze oil in to soap. Add glycerin and witch hazel.
4. Stir well and pour in to cup or molds.
This recipe makes just one bar of soap, but you can easily double or triple it to make more soap at once.
Enjoy!
