I've been having so much fun posting DIY beauty recipes, bath recipes, and essential oil information that I've fallen behind on my beauty reviews. DERMA E is one of my favorite skin care brands. They sent me two boxes of goodies that I'd like to share with you because I just know that you'll love them too.
Derma E sent me products from their Advanced Peptides line, which is new to me. I have used and loved several of their products, so I'm sure I'll love these too once I give them a month or two to test them. ABOUT DERMA E
What I love about DERMA E is that their products are natural and the company is taking steps to be ecofriendly as well. Their packaging is recyclable, and they offset 100 percent of their electricity use with wind energy certificates. It's my dream to go off grid, so that's definitely important to me.
All of their products are cruelty-free and vegan. While I"m not 100 percent cruelty-free, I do recognize the importance and would prefer CF over non-CF items.
None of their products have mineral oil, petrolatum, SLS, parabens, GMOs, soy, gluten, or artificial colors. This is a big one for me because I get skin rashes and itching from certain skin care ingredients.
ADVANCED PEPTIDE AND COLLAGEN SERUM
I'm in my mid 30s, and I have fine lines, but I don't have deep wrinkles. That doesn't mean that I'm not using some serious anti-aging products to keep those wrinkles away!
The Advanced Peptide and Collagen Serum is made for winkles and deep lines. It's oil-free, which is awesome because I have oily skin anyway, so I don't need extra oil. It has a powerful antioxidant that may help promote collagen production. It also has green tea and vitamin C for anti-aging.
. ADVANCED PEPTIDE AND COLLAGEN MOISTURIZER
I really love every DERMA E moisturizer that I've used. I have oily skin, so if I use a moisturizer that can plump my skin to cover fine lines, it usually leaves me looking oily. My makeup will just melt off of me. That's never a good look! DERMA E moisturizers really moisturize my skin without making me oily.
Like the serum, the Advanced Peptide and Collage Moisturizer is made for deep wrinkles. It has vitamin E, green tea, peptides, and plant extracts that are said to promote collagen production.
ADVANCED PEPTIDE AND COLLAGEN EYE CREAM
DERMA E's Age Defying Eye Cream is one of my favorite eye creams, so I was excited to try the Advanced Peptide and Collagen Eye Cream. Thankfully, my eye area look good for my age, so I can't attest to how well this works for deep lines and crow's feet because I do not have them.
Like the serum and moisturizer, the eye cream has vitamin E, green tea, and other ingredients to help reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
SUN PROTECTION MINERAL POWDER SPF 30
This is one product that I am really excited about! I use sunscreen every day that I'll be outside. I know that it's the reason that I still get carded even though I have a kid in college. This is a collaboration between DERMA E and Ash Deleon (@iheartmakeupart).
It uses translucent non-nano mineral powder to protect your skin from the sun. You can wear it alone or over makeup. I love this because I usually use a primer or moisturizer with SPF, but then I need to reapply. That's not really feasible with makeup on, but this makes it easy. It's small too, so it fits in a purse or bag for on the go.
It also helps absorb excess oil, which I definitely need during the day! It has chamomile, green tea, and vitamin E to nourish your skin too.
