I'm pretty sure that it's only been a few weeks since I wrote my Top 10 Posts of 2017 post! Where did 2018 go?
2018 was a quick year, but it was a good one. Once again, I got to take my family with me to travel. We aren't a traveling family, so it was a really big deal for us to take our mini trips. With having dogs, cats, chickens, and goats, travel isn't easy for us.
This year we got to visit Great Wolf Lodge for the first time. We had so much fun there! The kids got to do a lot of dry land activities, and they made a lot of memories there.
We also got to go back to Kalahari, but this time we spent the night. Two whole days of Kalahari was amazing! We can't wait to go back.
As for 2019? I haven't really decided. I think what I'm doing now is working fairly well. I may go back to two posts a week just because of time restrains. I'm not entirely sure on that yet.
I do want to take a moment and thank you, my readers, for reading, commenting, emailing, and sharing. I've seen good growth this year. I think my posts have gotten stronger and better, but I know it's because my readers are engaging more too.
I have a kid entering college in a year and a half, so keep sharing :)
I love doing these posts each year because I really get to dig into my analytics and see what you all love. I see the weekly and monthly trends, but it's nice to see the yearly trends.
These are the top posts that were published in 2018. If I included older posts, this list would be the same each year.

10. Homemade Body Powder Recipe With Essential Oils
To be honest, this one kind of surprised me. I didn't expect to see my homemade body powder recipe in the top 20 let alone the top 10. It got slow but steady traffic since I published it.
I used this a lot in the summer because I am super picky about smelling fresh. It's great for winter, but I use lotions to smell pretty in the winter.

9. DIY Dusting Spray With Essential Oils
I actually made this DIY dusting spray recipe out of necessity. I was deep cleaning my house, and I ran out of dusting spray. I knew if I went to the store that I'd lose momentum, so I made my own.
I'm glad I did because this has been pretty popular this year. It also works great!

8. Bug Repellent Candle Melt Recipe
This bug repellent candle melt recipe was also born out of necessity. I couldn't enjoy my patio without getting eaten alive.
I wanted something easy to make and easy to use.

7. Fall Single Use Soaps
These fall leaf single use soaps were crazy popular in the fall. The fact that they were posted in October and still made my top 10 of the year shows just how popular they were!
I use them because commercial soaps make my eczema flare up. I can take these with me and toss them when I'm done so there's no mess.

6. Watermelon Soap Recipe
This was actually a guest post from Rebecca at Soap Deli News. She was kind enough to blog a cold process soap recipe with real watermelon for my readers.
5. Natural Air Freshener With Essential Oils
This natural air freshener was kind of an afterthought. I've been making them for years. I wasn't going to blog it because it's so easy, but sometimes simple is best.
4. Roll On Lip Gloss Recipe With Essential Oils
I'm glad this roll on lip gloss recipe is so popular because it's a great one. I chose four carrier oils that complement each other well to make it.
There are oils that start working right away and other oils that last for hours, so it's a great lip product for dry or chapped lips.
3. Curl Defining Cream Recipe
Again, this was created out of necessity. I have curly hair, and I couldn't find a curl cream that I liked. I knew which ingredients my hair loved, so I experimented until I found this curl cream recipe.
2. 15 Amazing Salve Recipes
This collection of 15 amazing salve recipes has been popular from day 1. I guess you guys really loves salves!
