Peppermint and Pine Salve
This is a great DIY essential oil recipe for congestion. Peppermint and Pine essential oils are wonderful for relieving congestion naturally. Apply to the chest for quick relief. This is safe for kids 10 and older.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1.5 teaspoon beeswax
- 7 drops Pine Scotch essential oil
- 7 drops Peppermint essential oil
- 2 ounce tin
Directions
Melt and beeswax and coconut oil in a double boiler. Add the essential oils and stir well. Pour into the tin and let cool completely.
Citrus Christmas Room Spray
Naturally scent the room with this easy spray recipe. Avoid using on fabrics. This is not dog or cat safe, so don't use with pets.
Ingredients
- 25 drops Mandarin essential oil
- 15 drops Pine Scotch essential oil
- 2 tablespoons Vodka or Witch Hazel
- 2 tablespoons distilled water
- Spray bottle
Directions
Add all ingredients to the spray bottle. Swirl it around to mix. Shake well each time and spray around the room for a fun Christmas scent.
Mandarin and Coffee Sugar Scrub
This fun smelling coffee scrub is excellent for exfoliating and removing dead skin cells. Your skin will look brighter and feel softer after using this.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon fractionated coconut oil
- 15 drops Mandarin essential oil
- 1/2 cup ground coffee beans
- 1/2 cup sugar
- Small jar
Directions
Melt and coconut oil in the microwave for 15 seconds. Add the fractionated coconut oil and essential oils. Stir in sugar and coffee. Use once a week to exfoliate the skin.
Candy Cane Lip Balm
Use this yummy lip balm to prevent and heal dry or chapped lips in the winter.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon beeswax
- 1/2 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon sweet almond oil
- 10 drops Candy Cane essential oil blend
- 2 lip balm tubes
Directions
Melt and beeswax and coconut oil in a double boiler. Remove from heat and add the almond oil. Add essential oils and stir well. Carefully pour into the lip balm tubes. Let sit until cool.
Cold Buster Roll On
Apply this to your pulse points for natural congestion relief, energy, and focus.
Ingredients
- 1 drop Peppermint essential oil
- 1 drop Pine Scotch essential oil
- 3 drops Mandarin essential oil
- 10 ml fractionated coconut oil
- 10 ml roller bottle
Directions
Add the essential oils to the roller bottle. Fill with fractionated coconut oil. Roll between your hands to combine.
Christmas Candy Diffuser Blend
Diffuse this blend to make your home smell good. This is kid safe 12 and up, but it is not safe for dogs and cats.
Ingredients
- 50 drops Candy Cane essential oil blend
- 50 drops Mandarin essential oil blend
- 5 ml blend bottle
Directions
Combine the essential oils in the bottle. Add 1-3 drops to your diffuser to scent the air.
